Judge Pokorny Inducted into NONOSO

The Hon. Sally D. Pokorny, District Court Judge for the Kansas 7th Judicial District was recently inducted into NONOSO.

NONOSO is an alumnae women's honor society at Washburn University taken from Washburn's motto, Non nobis solum, or “not for ourselves alone”. The organization recognizes exceptional Washburn women based on their intelligence, creativity, personality, scholarship, leadership, moral integrity, community involvement and accomplishment.  A formal ceremony will take place on April 9th at Washburn.

 Judge Pokorny was a former Montgomery County Attorney, Cherryvale City Attorney and General Practitioner in South East Kansas for 25 years prior to moving to Lawrence.
